Variety Attribution: Obverse-1834 over 4, Large crude 4 over small 4. Stars medium in size and most are flat. Date is 8 mm. Part of the crossbar of the first 4 is visible about 1/4 mm. above the crossbar of the final large 4. The front and top of the latter is crooked and ill formed. 183 also will show slight recutting. Both 1 and 4 are much taller than 83. There is a pair of twin segments between stars 6 and 7.

Reverse- 50 C. is slightly less than 1 mm., 5 is tipped to the left. Arrow to A is 1 1/4 mm. I is centered under T. Upper left corner of shield is doubled. Left stand of M is thin, curved, recut, and joined to center at base.
