1832 O-107 R2 Capped Bust Half Dollar

NGC Graded MS63. Old Fattie holder. This one looks like an old time collector coin that has spent many a decade in a coin cabinet. Luster subdued by colorful toning, and marks are nearly non-existant.

Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 13 is 1/2 mm. from curl. Date is 7 3/4 mm., close, well centered, with 2 high. Mouth slightly open and dimpled at corner. Top of 2 just a shade over 1 mm. from curl.

Reverse- 50 C. is 1 mm. Arrow to A is 1/2 mm. I centered under left side of T. Line 1 of stripe 2 extends to second crossbar. Letters of legend thick and close to milling. The defect line extends 1 1/2 mm. into area between eagle's neck and wing. Line 3 of stripe 1 and two lines of stripe 3 extend sharply below shield.
