Variety Attribution: Obverse-Stars medium. Star 1 a shade over 1 mm. from drapery. Date is 7 3/4 mm. and low, with a tall open 3. 18 clearly wider than 834 and 4 is higher, tall, and recut.

Reverse- 50 C. is 1 mm. and high. with top of C. very close to olive stem. Arrow to A is 1/2 mm. I is entirely to left of stand of T. Center dot between crossbars 3 and 4. The thin left stand of M is joined at base, to a thick left center stand. Line 3 of stripes 1 and 2 extend boldly to crossbars 2 and 3. Curved die line almost connects base of S and O. Base of A-1 and second T in STATES recut.
