Variety Attribution: Obverse-1819 over 18, Large 9. Stars are large and close to milling. Star 8 is 1 mm. from cap. Star 13 is 1/2 mm. from Curl. Date is 9 3/4 mm.18 is wider than 819. The knob on tail of is large, flat and recut. A spear like defect near top of 1 and two or three fine die lines from drapery just left of 1. Star 13 flatly struck.

Reverse-50 C. is 1 3/4 mm. and rather low. Arrowheads separated, arrow to A is 3/4 mm. otch at right base of A's. Right sides of T-I in line.

According to Edgar Souders, he estimates that the projected mintage for this overdate is approximately 833,200. Get his book Bust Half Fever and read all about overdates and how he came up with the number! This number would include five Overton varieties, O-101, O-102, O-103 O-104, and O-106. O-105 is not included as it is not a true overdate.
