1827 O-116 R4+ Capped Bust Half Dollar

Variety Attribution O-116: Obverse-Stars are close to milling. Star 13 is 1/4 mm. from curl. Date is 8 mm. Mouth slightly open. Chin appears to be retooled. to square rather than rounded appearance.
O-116a: Die crack from edge through upper points of star two to neck.
Reverse- 50 C. is 2 mm. Arrow to A is 1/4 mm. I is centered under right side of T. Top 5 recut. Rusting of die has caused lumps around ES O, under A3, and on field under head. These lumps are visible on higher grade specimens.
