Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 1 is 1 mm. from drapery. Date is 8 mm. and well centered. 2 is lower at top than 187. Star 13 1/4 mm. from curl.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/2 mm. and low, with a large C, that is leaning sharply to left. Arrow to A slightly less than 1/2 mm. I is centered below left side of T. First 2 lines of stripe 1 and line 3 of stripe 3 extend to second crossbar. Die line crosses C in 50 C. Late states show no milling.
