1819 O-115 R3 Capped Bust Half Dollar

This marriage is a slightly tougher marriage. There are a couple of MS64's at the top, one of which is the Overton plate coin, along with several other MS examples. AU's are not that common though.

Former NGC XF40. This one I am pretty certain has been dug. The surface is scratched. Areas of deep toning remain, and there is decent luster, along with AU details.

variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 1 is 3/4 mm. from drapery.The date is10 1/2 mm. and low and is the widest of 1819.

Reverse- 50C is 1 3/4 mm. and low with a large round 50. Arrow to A is 1/2 mm. Upper left serifs are missing on all three E's. I is centered under right side of T. Numerous die lines in field at right or eagles head show on higher grade specimens. Crossbar 7 extends into right wing.
