1823 O-107 R2 Capped Bust Half Dollar
Common Die Marriage with an MS67 example at the top of the census.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Stars 8 and 13 just 1/4 mm. from cap and curl.Date is 8 mm. with long thin serifs on 1 and slender curls on 23.
Reverse- 50C is 1 3/4 mm. Arrow to A is 1 mm. On late die states a die crack from edge below 5 circles upward across 2 pair of olive leaves, UNITED STATES and to milling above OF. There is a die defect bar (like part of an arrow shaft) between the two upper talons of the right claw.
