1825 O-117 R4 Capped Bust Half Dollar
Obverse: 14
Reverse: P
Very tough in grades above XF, with few MS examples (lest than 5?), though there are a couple of MS65's. AU's are generally difficult and require patience as there appears to be only a handful or so.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 13 very close to curl. Date is 8 mm. Stand of 5 recut at front. Threre are a couple of horizontal die lines under bust to left of date.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/2 mm. and low. Arrow to A is 1/4 mm. I is centered under left side of T. Base of A2 is slightly lower than base of M. There is a small die defect lump on lower right side of stripe 1.
