1824 O-112 R4 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Problem free exaples are generally difficult in any grade and there is only a small group of MS examples up to MS64, most of whom have been off the market for a rather long time.
Variety Attribution O-112: Obverse-Stars large with sharp points close to milling. Date is a close 8 mm., base of 8 a shade higher than 1 and 2. Indented center dot on neck. Specimens normally show doubling or multiple profiles.
O-112a: Circular die crack from edge between star 13 and 4 which extends upward across curls and drapery to front edge of bust and lightly across field to star 4.
Reverse- 50 C. is 2 1/4 mm. Arrow to A is 1/2 mm. Letters of legend are all well separated. Right sides of DE, T-I are in line.
