1833 O-106 R2 Capped Bust Half Dollar
Obverse: 6
Reverse: F
Common marriage with examples in all grades up through MS64.
PCGS Graded AU58. A later die state of the Laced Lips variety. I wish all my Busties would be like this! No rim protection either side, yet this has full luster in the fields, and I believe that what looks like wear are actually flat strike spots and not wear. Luster is missing on only the open high areas. This is yet another Guido (see 1810 O-105 for more info) and the edge lettering is a mangled mess.
Here we go. Some edge pics as best as I can get them with the edge view holder. FIFTY
Not as blurry as it looks. The letters in CENTS are tough to read...
OR HALF? Guidos are fun
Looks like DOLLAR starts above and below it all ends with a *.
