1829 O-116 R3 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Somewhat tough marriage where few survive above XF, and the later die state being particularly difficult.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 1 is 1 mm. from drapery. Date is 8 1/4 mm.and well centered. Mouth slightly open.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 3/4 mm. and high. Arrow to A nearly touch and base of U nearly touches tip of left wing. Letters of legend, while not as large as on O-110 (rev G), are larger than usually found on 1829 reverses. Right sides T-I in line. ED and AME close at bases. Base of E above base of second T in STATES. Rusting of die has caused a patch of lumps below Eagle's head as well as in other locations.
