1827 O-141 R3 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Though slightly less common, this die marriage is available in all grades up through MS64. The Overton plate coin is also an MS64, though it is out of circulation.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 1 is 1 mm. from drapery. Date is 8 mm. and well centered. 2 is lower at top than 187. Star 13 1/4 mm. from curl.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/2 mm. and low, with a large C, that is leaning sharply to left. Arrow to A slightly less than 1/2 mm. I is centered below left side of T. First 2 lines of stripe 1 and line 3 of stripe 3 extend to second crossbar. Die line crosses C in 50 C. Late states show no milling.
