1818 O-111 R1 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Common die marriage with even an MS67 survivor at the top of the census.
NGC graded VF35. Weaker strike and lots of dirty gray toning. Fantastically original.
Variety Attribution: Obverse- All stars are sharp with long points. Date is 9 mm. with droopy topped eights. Second 1 is not only slimmer than the first 1 but lower than other figures. Small spike top of cap. ("Spiked Cap" variety)
Reverse-50 C. is 2 mm., well formed and centered. Arrow to A is 3/4 mm. Left side of I under right side of T, right sides of D-E are in line. Second crossbar extends into right wing.
