A common die marriage with high grade examples available up to MS66. Look for the very late die state with an additional die crack from top of 1 to star 1.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Stars 1 and 8 each 1 mm. from drapery and cap. Date is 9 1/2 mm and well centered. tiny dot on neck.
O-104a: Die crack from left of 1 in date actoss end of bust to star 1.
Reverse-50 C. is 2 mm. and low with slender 5 and top of 50 are even. O shows recutting inside near top and outside of lower right. Arrow to A is 1/2 mm. A tiny half segment between two larger ones above U. in UNITED. AM are separated and even at bases.
O-104a: Fine die cracks at NITED and top of STATES. Another fine crack from olive leaves across eagle and scroll to of.
