This one is tougher in high grades, with 4 MS and 8 AU problem free examples that have appeared the past 10 years. There are a few high end MS examples that are in collections that have not appeared in years, but this one has been on the tough side to obtain.
PCGS Graded AU50. Dirty dove gray coin with decent luster for the grade. From Heritage:
Rich ocean-blue and autumn-gold encompass this well defined and minimally abraded Bust half. Luster glints from design recesses. A problem-free example of this better date.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 13 has a scalloped point close to curl. Date is 9 3/4 mm. 18 wider than 810. Milling usually weak. Sharp center dot on neck.
Reverse-50 C. is 1 3/4 mm. and low. Arrow to A is 1/2 mm. A large square center dot fills the space between crossbars 4 and 5. AM solidly joined at base, with M higher at the juncture. ME nearly touch. Milling and lower right side usually weak.
