1832 O-120 R3 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Variety Attribution O-120: Obverse-Stars are mostly flat. Date is 8 mm. With a recut serif on 1, similar to obverse 11 on O-116 but different. Also traces of this recutting show at base and along right side.All specimens seen show a die crack at base of date that runs under end of bust.
O-120a: Additional die crack from rim just above star 3 to lower chin. Another from rim across star 12 to curl. these frist two cracks will eventually connect. Another from star 5 across head and star 10 to edge.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 3/4 mm. and low, top of C. 1 full mm. from olive stem. Arrowheads crude and joined together and to shafts above. Arrow to A is nearly 3/4 mm. ER nearly touch at base. A in STATES is much higher at base than first T. The right curve at top of the shield extends left at center into the eagle's neck. No tail feathers left at all.
