1831 O-105 R3 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Slightly less common marriage with a decent group of higher grade specimens up to MS64.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 13 is 1/4 mm. from curl. Date is 7 mm. and well centered. Both ones show narrow recutting along sides and have merely small points for serifs at top. First one sharply higher than 8. There are two distinct horizontal die defect lines below bust. The upper one touches the lowest fold of the drapery.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/2 mm. with tall figures that all slant to the left. Arrow to A is 3/4 mm. is centered under left side of T. First 2 lines of stripe 1 penetrate to crossbar 4 and most other lines to crossbar 3.
