1830 O-110 R3 Small 0 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Generally common with examples being found up through MS64.
O-110 R3 below, O-110 "a" which is not in the Overton, is an R4? and that is at bottom
Variety Attribution O-110: Obverse-Star 13 is 1/2 mm. from curl. Date is a close 8 mm. with figures thicker than O-108 and O-109, and the 3 more closed. 18 is noticeably higher than 30. Most show a dot below date between 8 and 3 near milling. Stars are sharp and clear of milling. Patches of die rusting are evident on some specimens.
O-110"a": Die crack from star 4 to star 7
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/4 mm. and high. The 5 is tall and open, with slender lines and a straight poined top. Arrow to A is 1 mm. I centered under left side of T. right side of D in line with ledt side of E. Base of M above base of A and E. Rough patches of die rusting evident on some specimens.
