This die marriage boasts one of the highest graded Bust Halves of all time, an NGC MS68. Relatively common, examples can be found in all grades problem free with patience.
Variety Attribution : Obverse-Stars are large. Star 13 is 1/2 mm. from curl Date is 9 1/2 mm. 81 slightly closer than 18 or 11. Tiny center dot on neck.
O-105: Reverse-50 C. is 2 1/4 mm. Center dot between crossbars 4 and 5. A patch of die defect lumps on upper crossbars just left of center. Arrowheads separated. Arrow to A is slightly over 1/2 mm. TE in STATES joined at top. The upper crossbar is cut boldly into right wing for nearly 2 full mm.
O-105a: A die crack has formed from edge below leaves left of 5, across tip of stem claw and wing, along wing across scroll through TES, along top of UNITED STA through olive leaves and to top of 5.
