1809 O-112 R5- Capped Bust Half Dollar

Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 13 has a scalloped point toward curl. Mouth broad and slightlyopen. Date is 9 3/4 mm figures with small and relatively thick figures. Stars 1 and 13 each 3/4 mm. from drapery and curl respectively.

Reverse-50 C. is 2 mm. A to arrohead is 1 mm and arrowheads well separated. ME very close at base. Most of left wing is usually smooth. Lines 11 and 3 of stripe 4 extend to crossbar 2, with line 3 the boldest. E position is far left, withleft side of D centered over E and left side of T in line with right side of I. A die lump between E and S in STATES and one each under M and E in AMERICA on some specimens.
