O-102 has a handful of AU examples known, but there is a single MS62 example that sold in 2013 as part of the Newman collection, representing the finest known for this die marriage.
1795 Emission Sequence Number for O-102: 26
Variety Attribution O-102: Obverse-Star 15 is 1 mm. from bust. Curl about 1/2 mm. from 2 upper points of star 1 and 2 inner points of star 2. date is 8 3/4 mm. rather evenly spaced and well centered. R in LIBERTY is higher than E and T. A fine die crack is usually vible from near end of bust to milling, just left of star 15.
O-102a: More die cracks, one from upper edge through E to head. Another from lower edge up through I and lower curls. A third joins stars 9 and 10 then to edge near star 12.
O-102: Reverse-17 Berries, 9 left 8 right, 2 inside, 1 outside wreath below right wing. The only such alighnment for 1795. Center dot on right wing near body.
O-102a: Die cracks join AMERI. Another crosses left ribbon, tip of left wing and through T in UNITED to edge. Very late die states show a die crack through T in UNITED to edge. Very late die states show the die crack through T in UNITED becoming a retained cud.
