1833 O-105 R2 Capped Bust Half Dollar

There is supposedly an O-105a die state, but no sale records exist at this time.
Common die marriage with examples available up through MS65.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-A patch of die defect dots usually visible between star 5 and 6 and forecurl and also between star 7 and headband. Stars are sharp. Date is 8 mm. and evenly spaced with open 3s. Star 8 a close 1/4 mm. to cap. A wide open space in milling at outer point of star 12. The three segments just below are joined.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 mm., and high. with a broad straight toop on 5.1 or 2 lines froom each stripe extend boldly to crossbar 2. Arrow to A is 3/4 mm. last S in STATES has been recut higher and to left of original curring, part of bother the lower and upper serifs of first cutting remain. Most specimens show a die crack from milling below 5 and across tips of olive leaves to top of UN. Center dot between crossbars 3 and 4.
(O-105a) Die carack above extends around legend and another develops through second T in STATES.
