1830 O-106 R2 Small 0 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Obverse: 3
Reverse: F (Second Marriage, used in 1829 O-104, Rev C)
O-106 R2 below, O-106a R4? at bottom. If I were to bet, I would say the O-106 is an R4 and the 106a is R6, but that is just me!

PCGS Graded AU55 CAC. Ex-Davignon via Sheridan Downey. Some bagmarks are present, but decent luster rolls through the fields, though the gray toning does subue it a bit in the pics. This one makes my list of toughest "common" Overton varieties  with a grand total of 11 MS or AU appearances (problem free) the last 10 years, present coin included.

Variety Attribution O-106: Obverse-Star 13 is 3/4 mm. from curl, pointing to the back of curl. Date is 8 mm, and well centered.
O-106a: Die crack from edge between stars 11 and 12 to curls.

Reverse- 50 C. is 1 mm. very large and high. Top of 5 top of C. only 1/4 mm. from feather and olive stem. Arrow to A is 1/2 mm. Right sides of T-I in line. The same reverse used in 1829 O-104, Rev C. Stand of E centered under right edge of stand of D.
